Detectives from the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department investigate a shocking armed robbery at a gas station after a young mother is held at gunpoint.

I filmed, produced and directed along with Ed Davies, who took the film into the edit. During filming I met a single mother who had been on shift in a rural gas station when a man burst in with a gun, and my producer and I worked with her to navigate her post-traumatic stress in filming her story.

The film was part of POLICE CUSTODY USA, a new series from the makers of 24 Hours in Police Custody (Channel 4). I filmed and directed across the series, which tells the stories of the officers who serve one of the most engaging (but also dangerous) communities in the mid-west of America.
