Police Custody USA

In 2019, I flew out to the US to film with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department for a new series, which was a co-production between Channel 4 and Discovery and created by the makers of 24 Hours in Police Custody (Channel 4).

Police Custody USA tells the stories of the officers who serve one of the most engaging (but also dangerous) communities in the mid-west of America, as well as the extraordinary stories of the people and families who call on them for help.

I filmed, produced and directed across the series, in particular on an episode about a shocking armed robbery at a gas station (Armed & Dangerous), meeting with and gaining the trust of a young mother who was held at gunpoint.
